Sharing the News Contest
Share your club news with the world! Tell your community what your Toastmasters club is doing and
welcome others to join. Community clubs should submit their stories to local newspapers. Corporate
clubs may have the opportunity to share their stories in a corporate newsletter or a corporate on-line
newspaper. Remember to include the Success Times when you are sharing the news.
District 40 is sponsoring a “Sharing the News Contest” with 2 categories, one for the Success Times and
one for public newspapers. Stories for the Success Times are entered automatically. Send newspaper
clippings, along with a printout of your original story, to:

All entries must include the name of the author, club name and #, date of the event, date published.
A committee will be appointed to develop a judging form and to determine winners. Winners will be
announced at the Spring Conference. Keep those stories coming!
