District Mission

The district’s mission is to enhance the performance and extend the network of clubs, thereby offering greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from the Toastmasters educational program by:

• Focusing on the critical success factors as specified by the district educational and membership goals.
• Ensuring that each club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its members.
• Providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for club and district officers.

Helping Every Member Shine!

Toastmasters programs are indeed about self-discovery, but as every teacher and mentor knows, to really master a subject, you’ve got to help another learn it. Our District theme for the Toastmasters year beginning July 1, 2009 is “Helping Every Member Shine.” Who has skills and insights to share with a fellow Toastmaster but finds that meetings come and go too quickly to fit it in? A constructive exchange is possible only if we take initiative to make time, call or write another, and offer or ask for help. Check our Who’s Who directory to get to know our formally installed District leaders for this new year. Name not on the list? No worries! Every Toastmaster can be a District leader by practicing the Toastmasters Promise and basic consideration, and just helping every member shine.
