Why the Background Color Change?
From time to time in the Toastmasters year, our clubs have business to take care of. As an action deadline approaches, we will change the default background color of this website from BLUE to COPPER or RED to offer a visual reminder.
A COPPER background means that 2 weeks or less remain until the deadline. A RED background indicates a deadline is just days away.
- By June 30 - Submit new officers lists
- Club secretaries or their designees who submit their club's slate of new officers to Toastmasters International by this deadline help their club be recognized in the Distinguished Club Program (DCP). Do it online or by mail. For details, see the officer's manual for club secretaries. (See "June" on page 14.)

- By August 31 - At least 4 club officers attend training
- Club officers will make the most of their leadership opportunities by attending either the District-wide Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) or the makeup session in your division. Club are recognized in the Distinguished Club Program (DCP) reports (eventually, not immediately) each Summer and Winter in which their officers meet this training objective. See the District calendar for training events.
