Beckie Trudeau is the 2011-12 Northern Division Governor
Beckie Trudeau joined Toastmasters in 2007 with the hopes of improving her communication skills and presentation abilities. While pursuing these goals, she has fulfilled various officer positions within her home club, Shelby County Club. Most recently she has served as Area 4 Governor. To date, she has received the designations of Advanced Communicator Bronze and Advanced Leader Bronze. In her experiences with the organization, Beckie has found Toastmasters to be rewarding with the personal growth and networking opportunities it presents. While serving as the Northern Division Governor, she will centralize her focus on members. By assuring individual members meet their goals and extending the Toastmasters opportunity to more people, the mission of the organization will be fulfilled.
Currently working as the global manager for the Customer Relationship Management program at Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., Beckie’s diverse background also includes positions in human resources, communications, treasury, engineering and information technology. She holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from East Tennessee State University. She is married to a fellow Toastmaster Ed Trudeau and has two daughters, ages 7 and 10.
