Larry Goldsmith is the 2011-12 District 40 Lt.Governor of Education & Training.
Larry is a solutions analyst for Nationwide. He is a firm believer in the Toastmasters educational program and how it can help Toastmasters grow at both a professional and personal level. He credits his success as a facilitator to the confidence and leadership skills he has learned from the program.
Larry has been a Toastmaster for 7 years. He has been a member of several clubs, served as Sponsor andMentorfor new clubs, and held the offices of President, VPE, VPPR, Treasurer and Area Governor. His love of speaking has helped him become a Distinguished Toastmaster multiple times.
Larry is excited about the opportunity to be part of your district leadership team. As Lt. Gov. of Education and Training Larry intends to further develop his leadership and communications skills while helping you develop your skills to whatever level you desire. He has found the best way to educate club members on how to conduct fantastic meetings is to visit many clubs and then “cross pollinate” great ideas throughout the district. If a club is struggling with an issue, chances are it has been addressed and resolved by a neighboring club.
